 My teachers who taught me the first book of dance life.





Dance is  a  beautiful Art  It is as big as the ocean.  I  know  something  like a drop  of  water in  it. So the  giant   shadow  that illuminates  my  dance life is my two teachers.πŸ₯ΊπŸ™πŸ»♥️




Provides education and good qualities and produces useful people for the country.  They have the same kind of love in their hearts as their parents.



I used to be not very good at  dancing.  But  because of my two teachers, I fell in  love   with  dance. It  took a  lot  of hard work. Today  my  whole life  has become an art. Many  thanks to  Mrs.  Prasangi  and Mr. Dilhan  teachers. taught me a  good  path  from   my childhood to university life.

  The main stringed instruments in Sri Lanka Kandiyan drum (Gataberaya) kandyan drum is a Sri Lankan musical instrument and is one of the most important instruments in the Kandyan dance tradition.   Head Jewelry Wearing Ceremony of the Kandyan Dance Traditionl    3 months before the auspicious time of wearing head ornaments, all flesh should be avoided.  To put on the headdress, the teacher checks the student's birth certificate and sets a suitable time for the auspicious time.  Afterwards, the Kala Eli festival will be held with many rituals. This will bring a talented dancer to the door. That day was a very precious day for a student studying dance, a beautiful day that illuminated the dance life.  Many thanks to my two teachers who brought that day to my life .. Worship of traditional dances in Sri Lanka.   This worship is performed before and after the dance begins.  It is practiced in that order as a sign of respect for the Lord Buddha, God, parents and teachers and the dancer recites a short chant.  When the dancers touch the ground, with their hands first on the head, forehead then on the chest, they sing the following:  Kandiyan dance (namaskaraya) Theyiyath theyiyath theyiyath tham Theyiyath theyiyath theyiyath tham Theyiyath theyiyath theyiyath tham Theyiyath theyiyath theyiyath tham Low country dance (namaskaraya) Gaddirikita gundirikita gathath gathath dhom gath dhahim Gaddirikita gundirikita gathath gathath dhom gath dhahim Gaddirikita gundirikita gathath gathath dhom gath dhahim Sabaragamuwa dance (namaskaraya) Theyi thaa gathath /// Theyi theyi theyi tha Theyiyath thaam.
