Ambuluwawa Buddhist Temple in Sri lanka

           Ambuluwawa in sri lanka

As a result of ten years of development throughout the town of Gampola in the Kandy District of the Central Province, this screw-shaped tower became popular in our country as well as in the whole world as Ambuluwawa. This beautiful creation was nationalized after the development work started in 1997 and was completed in 2007.

About 5 km along the Hemmatagama road from Gampola town you can reach the Ambuluwawa access road and the dagoba built on this tower is located at an elevation of 3567 feet above sea level.

This beautiful tower is located in a Buddhist temple, a Hindu temple, a Catholic church and a mosque, which attracts devotees from all walks of life.

Climbing to the top of this stupa is an extremely adventurous experience.  It is possible to ascend here in the middle of the stupa, but it does not inherit the thrill of walking around the stupa.  The thrill is at its peak as you ascend this tower.  The road with the surrounding stairs is getting shorter and narrower, making it very difficult for people to get up and down the road.  In some places there are cave-like places to move like this.  The height of this tower is high so the thrash is maximized.  If you are afraid of high places, avoid going up here.
