  Head Jewelry Wearing Ceremony of the Kandyan Dance Traditionl    3 months before the auspicious time of wearing head ornaments, all flesh should be avoided.  To put on the headdress, the teacher checks the student's birth certificate and sets a suitable time for the auspicious time.  Afterwards, the Kala Eli festival will be held with many rituals. This will bring a talented dancer to the door. That day was a very precious day for a student studying dance, a beautiful day that illuminated the dance life.  Many thanks to my two teachers who brought that day to my life .. I love you so much .. Ambuluwawa Buddhist Temple in Sri lanka

                        Ambuluwawa in sri lanka As a result of ten years of development throughout the town of Gampola in the Kandy District of the Central Province, this screw-shaped tower became popular in our country as well as in the whole world as Ambuluwawa. This beautiful creation was nationalized after the development work started in 1997 and was completed in 2007.   About 5 km along the Hemmatagama road from Gampola town you can reach the Ambuluwawa access road and the dagoba built on this tower is located at an elevation of 3567 feet above sea level.  This beautiful tower is located in a Buddhist temple, a Hindu temple, a Catholic church and a mosque, which attracts devotees from all walks of life.   Climbing to the top of this stupa is an extremely adventurous experience.  It is possible to ascend here in the middle of the stupa, but it does not inherit the thrill of walking around the stupa.  The thrill is at its peak as you ascend this tower.  The road with the surrounding

Silambu used for traditional dances in Sri Lanka.

  Silambu is a piece of jewelery worn in the costumes of the Kandyan dance tradition.  The ankles, which can be worn on the ankles, are made of small metal balls to create sound.  Silambu is an Indian word.  The meaning here is 'to make sound'.  When worn on the leg, it is called Kalchilambu in Tamil.  Silambu wearers make noise when moving or dancing.  It can be worn on the ankle or leg.   Chilambs are made of copper or silver, and iron balls are used to make sound.i n ancient times, women in India, somewhat similar to the nauts, wore silambu and danced.  In the past, artists at the Indian Amman festivals used to hold the silambu in their hands and perform the dance called 'Kai Silambu Attam'.  Lord Shiva or Nataraj can sometimes be seen wearing anklets on his feet.  Silambu is also worn in the '' Theiyam '' dance in Kerala, India.

  This dance tradition is most prevalent in Ratnapura, Kalawana, Pelmadulla and Balangoda areas of the Sabaragamuwa Province.  It is one of the oldest and most captivating dances of the national culture and is restricted to this area.  The dawula, a cylindrical drum, is the main instrument of this tradition.  Sabaragamuwa dance art is based on the dance basics of 05 mathras. 01.                                      Nelligala sacred area The sun service can be seen only at the top of Samanala Kanda. If you come to Nellagala in the morning or in the evening, the Nelligala International Buddhist Center is as famous as the Temple of the Tooth.The Nelligala Sacred Area was created in 2014 by conserving a scrub forest.  It is worth mentioning here that the forest has been conserved.  This Buddhist heritage is situated in a beautiful environment where the sweet sound of the jungle spreads all around. Hanthana, Hunnasgiri, Andagala, Alagalla, Batalegala,Ambuluwawa, Atigala, Ramasara Kanda, Sri Pada and Pidurutalagala can all be viewed from a 360 degree view from the top of Nelligala at an elevation of 700 m above sea level.  It took six years of dedication to build this sacred place in the middle of the blue mountain range.  The statues and designs here are golden in color and the bodhi tree in a large bowl of gold is special.   The main stringed instruments in Sri Lanka Kandiyan drum (Gataberaya) kandyan drum is a Sri Lankan musical instrument and is one of the most important instruments in the Kandyan dance tradition. This is known by the specific names of Gati Bera, Gata Bera, Kandyan Bera and Magul Bera.   This drum is turned out of wood from Ehela, Jak, Kohomba and Milla trees.  There  are sathara bijakshara here. Low Country Drum (yak bera) Low Country Drum This is a Sri Lankan instrument.  Also known as the yak drum, the Goshaka drum, the dewol drum, and the dik drum, it is one of the most important instruments in the low country dance tradition. It is cylindrical in shape and this is why it is called the Dhik Beraya. The name Goshaka Beraya is given to this drum because of its loud, bass sound.
